Zone Tool 1.1

This tool offers users the capability to calculate exposure and necessary adjustments for film development, based on the zone system theory originally established by Ansel Adams and Fred Archer.

The process begins by determining the zone of your shadows and measuring them accordingly. Next, users identify the highlight zone and take measurements of the highlights. These measurements should be performed using the film ISO intended for use, and it is advisable to decide on the shutter speed prior to taking these readings.

The application efficiently calculates the required exposure aperture and indicates whether adjustments are needed in terms of development time, whether that entails shortening (N+..) or extending (N-..) the duration.

For optimal results, a spot light meter is recommended; however, mobile applications are likely to yield satisfactory outcomes as well.
